From the infographic, I find out that – just like me – 64 percent of those who work virtually are self-employed. Digital nomads can be freelancers, consultants, as well as employees working for a flexible, forward-thinking company.

And yes, us digital nomads can work from everywhere we want – at home or at a vacation spot!

As mobile trends are continuously growing, so do the number of opportunities related to virtual working, especially if you are a wage or salary worker. What was only open to freelancers and business owners, now employees can be more easily arrange telecommuting work with their bosses who understand that freedom means increased productivity.
